  • Episode 1341 Talkback: London Super Comic Convention 2013 Wrap-Up

although it doesn't show the rather good G'Nort costume I saw, or the world's tallest Lara Croft
The G'Nort guy was brilliant. Not only was his costume good he acted the part as well. My 6 year son (dressed as a Green Lantern) was delighted when he won the cosplay competition and went and gave him a high five! For me it was him and the guy dressed as Beast that were the highlights! Beast even had pointed teeth!

Pants is absolutely right about Brian Bolland. I was one of the people Pants mentioned that snuck up as he was packing away. I did feel a bit sheepish (and Pants gave a bit of stern look) and half expected him to turn me away but he didn't and we even had a very brief conversation about him forgeting his name sometimes after a long signing session. What a gent!
  • London Super Con is back!

What a weekend! Had a brilliant time mostly just soaking up the atmosphere and taking photos of my six year old son with the cosplayers, who are all very nice people by the way. Tried to get my son to go and ask @Pants 'Are you pants?' but he wouldn't do it cos it was rude. Nice to have a chat with Pants and also J K Woodward who my son practically stalked whilst he was doing a Dr Who sketch for us. He was really nice too. Realised I've said nice too much. Having a bit of con come down now though. Is that normal?
  • Episode 1293 Talkback: Ridin' the Storm Out

What a fun episode. It really sounded like you were all enjoying yourselves. It had that eavesdropping on a group of friends chatting kind of feel to it which was great. More of this kind of thing please!
  • Mike Gallagher kicked off the show

I'm genuinely shocked. I liked Mike a lot and it seemed to me that he, Pants and Jamie D had been keeping the show going these last few months. Still whatever happened in private should stay that way. There's nothing worse than when forums descend in sniping and bitchiness. All the best Mike and I'm sure I'll come across you again in the future.
  • REX, ZOMBIE KILLER hits shops today!

I felt a bit similar to busty at first. It did feel like I'd been thrown in at the deep end but thats not always a bad thing. After a few pages I got a feel for who the characters were and then the story drew me in. I just assumed that being a one shot, that there just wouldn't be room to have all the animals backgrouds mentioned so I was happy that this might be covered in future issues should it get a regular run. Its a fairly common story device.
My main criticisim is that just as I was getting to like the characters and enjoy the story, it finished! And then I was left slightly confused. Was there an issue 2 coming out?
Anyway it was a really fun story with great art. If there are anymore issues please don't go down the dark gritty route because I loved the tone.
