I was the guy who did a rough cut compilation for The Best Of Drunk Cap, by the way. I tried to leave enough room for whomever was going to do any editing to slide in music, comments, etc.I'll try to answer more when I get home. For those wondering, the cartoon theme episode is #20.
Pants created the 52 shout out (I think). It used to make Bryan sigh. Hilarious. I still say it out loud as well when I come across it.
While there's a Best of Drunk Cap compilation episode, his first appearance was near the end of ep.886.
Pants - issue 5 was to be a focus on black Super characters. Ape commissioned a cover that featured a slew of characters including the Blue Marvel. I think the main artist of that character drew the image but I can't remember his name.
Wait for it....I'm the real slim shady
Thanks! It's amazing to see how many horror hosts were relatives (usually an uncle) or "Doctors", isn't it? :)We had one here in the Twin Cities a few years ago...my friend Thommy was Uncle Ghoulie and did some great work. I also now know WAY too much about local television.
There's also a web channel that shows horror hosted movies 24 hours a day I've found, but all they can show is PD movies, so I've pretty much seen everything they can show.
Good luck with the show!
And yet didn't take up as much space AND didn't include references to any quasi-nude salad-eating.Posted right before I wrote just about the same thing.
I think Peter's stake in this, is that it seems he's watched Mike do/say things that have hurt or damaged CGS' reputation in the comics world. Peter co-created the show and served as a producer for years, maybe that's why it means so much to him?
Once again, just my opinion.
I told you some listeners get it! Bravo! :)
