Over-rated comics
For me it would be James Robinson's Starman. I'm not saying the book is bad mind you; however I just don't see why so many describe this story as being so emotionally wrenching and a must read. For the record, I have the first three omnibus editions. -
Fox or WB/UPN/CW? Which network (non SyFy) has done more for sci-fi/geek culture?
I'd have to go with FOX, I know that they cancel a lot of their shows rather quickly. But, there is something else to take into effect....

I know that it's a novel concept that shows that get terrible ratings and loose money for the channel airing them get cancelled. But FOX should at least get some credit -
Free Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes DVD!
The problem being that those tickets are almost always complete bunk. You show up to the theater, and they won't take it.At Wal-Mart today I saw Avengers - Earth Mightiest Heroes DVDs on sale for $10. "But wait, Kyle," you say. "I thought you said free." I did say free. They also include a voucher to get a free ticket to see The Avengers in theaters, up to $12 value. And let's face it - all of you were going to go see Avengers anyway. So that makes this a free DVD. I bought volume 1 even though I already have a ticket to see Avengers (I'll see it again!) and I've never even seen a single episode of this cartoon.
