F.F. This is the only Marvel Now(!) book I’ve picked up so far, along with my first issue of FF ever. I’m in it for the Allred, baby, and he didn’t disappoint. Fraction is definitely writing for Allred’s strengths, so there are lots of wacky sci-fi…
Hopefully. I'm excited to see where they go...maybe negate the first trilogy with Days of Future Past? Making First Class the "prime" timeline...
I'd be happy with them only negating "Last Stand" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". I ignore the Singer…
I love that Waid is talking about a back-to-basics approach in the new series, but there are still a bunch of other Hulks running around. There needs to be more house-cleaning before I think it's safe to give a shit.
It wouldn't be a Doctor Who story without a bad guy being used by a badder guy, even as they think they're in charge. And then, oh no, there's a double-cross in the end! I love those tropes...
Lethem is one of my favorite authors, but when I read Kavalier and Clay a few years ago I really didn't dig it. I've been meaning to give it another shot. Supergods was interesting, and the Zombie Survival Handbook is fun, but not the sort of thing …
The cartoon was slightly before my time, but I grew up with my brother's action figures.
I always liked the Dolph Lundgren movie better... (cringes for backlash)
Whoops... link didn't take: bleedingcool.com/2012/07/12/stephanie-brown-dropped-from-smallville-in-favour-of-barbara-gordon/
Disappointing and confusing.
Lie field is good at something. Not comics. Something more, shall we say, below the belt? He prolly draws in this
Position as well.
It explains much
I'm going to defend Rob.
Scary, I know.
For all of us that don't care for his work, he DOES gene…
This is a great idea. I just moved back to Prague, where there isn't an overabundance of LCSes. Think I could just grab a few cheap issues off of ComiXology instead? Is that cheating?
I scoffed when all the people with long histories with DC were upset about the New 52 relaunch. Now... Now I kinda get it.
It'd be nice if this was a way to trim the books down. Uncanny Avengers is rumored to replace Secret Avengers, and putting ou…
"What happens to us in the future? Do we become assholes or something?"
Actually, yes.
This is such a Marvel thing to do, I feel like I should've seen it coming. I guess it'll kind of depend how they handle it...
Big Hero 6? I must have missed the news on that one. Ant-Man and Black Panther, I can totally see (especially with the Avengers connection)... a Big Hero 6 movie is a bit of a stretch.

It has me interested but not foaming at the mouth. Apparently Tony Lee, the god of Doctor Who comics, is leaving this miniseries partway through. That makes me worry a little.
Does anyone find it strange that these second wave Marvel movies, Ant-Man, Guardians, Black Panther, Big Hero 6, are all characters who can't hold down their own ongoing series?
Not sure if these are underrated for you guys, but...
- Dan Slott's run on She-Hulk and his Great Lakes Avengers mini
- Milligan/Allred's X-Force/X-Statix
- Langridge/Samnee's Thor: The Mighty Avenger
